Earlier this year I purchased an upgrade to Adobe Creative Suite CS4 Web Premium for Windows, being in possession of a valid license from Adobe Creative Suite CS3 Web Premium. For various reasons, then, I have found to work only on Mac OS! How many of you know, unlike what happened in the days of Macromedia, Adobe takes a unique licensing system: when you buy one of their products also choose the platform. Macromedia, however, gave both versions for Windows and Mac It follows, then, that I found myself unable to use the Adobe suite on my beautiful MacBook Pro Fortunately, Adobe allows you to replace, without any additional charge (except for 8 Euro shipping box), with its Windows version than Mac OS - or vice versa.
To do this simply contact support, using their Adobe account and request a replacement, indicating the current version and serial number. Technical support will send a document in which you state that does not provide for the destruction and the future use of the version you want to replace.
This done, and paid the 8 euro, in a couple of days there will come home in the version for your operating system! Adobe Brava!

Mozilla Firefox allows you to manage multiple profiles , which is useful to those who, like me, develops Web sites and requires a series of extensions dedicated to debugging and analysis of Web pages via the use of profiles you can configure different settings FireFox:
Firefox saves your personal information such as bookmarks, passwords and preferences in a file called profile group located in a different position compared to the Firefox program files.
On Windows Vista ( see here for other operating systems) can access the profile management from the command Esegui using:
One of the advantages in the use of profiles is that you can have a FireFox to browse without the toolbar and then all the extensions for debugging and FireFox to develop, accompanied by FireBug and all other development tools.

I draw inspiration from an article published on corriere.it which lists the 10 worst video ever made technological history .
WASHINGTON "The famous webzine CNet Technology once again, ironically, a roundup of the worst advertising technology , sometimes bad others simply foolish. Maybe because most of the videos on portraying the atmosphere typically trashy eighties, which will be related to a time when technology was all that quickly became obsolete, in all cases to review these spots often draws a smile and some criticism.
Here are some really fun if you do not "ridiculous"

It happened to turn the TV Net TV, as had happened to become a Radio Net Radio, not to mention the music! Now, as mentioned in other posts, it's official for the Software to transform short-term Net Software!
Adobe , which we know has recently acquired Macromedia, formalizes the Web Application - Web 2.0 - in real RIA (Rich Internet Applications) with the announcement of wanting to take on the popular Web editing software Photoshop. It is the latest ' agreement between Adobe and Photobucket to make available online a technology for editing and video remix. Thanks to new technology developed for Flash 9 with ActionScript 3.0 , Adobe aims high, anticipating that within six months will be available online version of Photoshop based precisely on Flash technology.
Indeed, the new possibilities of ActionScript 3.0 (involving projects such as Flex and Apollo - see also Web2.0: Adobe is trying to Apollo and Ajax Rich Internet Application ) makes it the perfect candidate for the implementation of true on the Web Ajax RIA , on the other hand, we see ousted from his throne in this new scenario. Despite the countless Ajax Framework, some excellent, produced during the last few years, Flash provides an environment most advanced and easy to manipulate. Also we talk about one of the world's most popular plugins: Flash has it behind a few years older than Ajax and derivatives.
Furthermore, it is obvious that the Adobe Flash chooses, he being the producer now. However there are technical issues that may be considered - to date - only to be resolved in a harmonious application of technologies such as Flash. Taking a look at the new ActionScript 3.0 we immediately realize the tremendous possibilities of development offered by this new platform. The ECMA standard language and new items made available by the framework allow you to reach a level of detail possible with previous versions of Flash: one of all, for example, the ability to access data from an uploaded image Bitmap hard!
The attack by Adobe seems to take place on two fronts so distinct that they have in common the Flash technology (which remember has always been the ability to actively interact with the browser and then with Javascript Client side and server-side scripting).
The first attack takes place outside, on the browser side, where the technology Apollo is really proposed as an alternative to the usual kernel of the different platforms, available today (Windows, Mac OS, Linux, etc. ...); use Adobe Apollo , then, instead browser for best performance and applications (RIAs real) unthinkable, thus bypassing the incompatibility between Internet Explorer, FireFox and companionship. In addition, Apollo provides a single development platform, JavaScript-like Ajax, but without compatibility issues. This last point is a significant setback to technologies like Ajax, which still suffer greatly with issues of browser compatibility, do not forget, moreover, made the whole issue (rendering) graphical CSS!
The other attack is from inside, hitting Ajax Framework with Flash card. The winning element in this strategy lies in the use of Flash, the Flash technology, which is applicable both in Flex , both in Apollo , both as a standalone version already are accustomed to seeing (simple SWF file for instance)! There is no doubt that this scenario is extremely attractive to developers, and Web. What becomes immediately realizable Flash reusable in various ways, without forcing me to change a single line of code and, moreover, without worrying about compatibility!
This, in my opinion, is an important step forward, a change of considerable proportions, which also involves the world of games and Marketing. We'll talk again soon, make no mistake!

Two must-have free software for the utilities and how they were developed. Congratulations to ntwind software on the site also offers other interesting tools.
WinSnap can capture the screen and portions of the PC, but, finally, with all the options of a professional grabber. On the site you can download both the free version (free) that this fee. Its unique features make the developer and I congratulate the authors for the excellent quality of the product.
Installation is quick and easy. The product is extremely lightweight and does not disturb the system. The user interface is well developed and allows you to configure WinSnap in all its parts. You can capture (Grabbe), the entire screen, application windows, active window's client area, context menus (Advanced), individual portions of the screen. The most interesting feature is that WinSnap maintains the transparency of the edges when you capture a window, see Window of rounded edges.
You can also apply some effects of what has been captured; color (grayscale, sepia, negative), shading (bottom, top, edge), others such as the addition of the board, applying a custom watermark, rotate and image resizing! In short for those who need to freeze anything on the screen is the ideal product.
TaskSwitchXP is a replacement of the command ALT + TAB in Windows. Supersedes so much higher than the Microsoft PowerToys that, by comparison, is just ugly (the Microsoft version also works with some bad bugs!).
Although this product is perfect in its conception, excellent customization and extreme efficiency. TaskSwitchXP is completely free and runs at startup after installation of the machine, but nevertheless remains transparent and lightweight system.
In addition to showing a good preview of the task on which you want to go (dividend instances of applications - very useful in some cases), also reduces the windows of Windows directly into the TrayIcon.

Windows Vista has arrived. No extraordinary novelty. All have seen on the Apple Mac OS X. However - as happened with the Internet Explorer 7 - at least Microsoft has aligned with current standards. And Apple is still a niche compared to the popularity of Windows, so this update of the operating system is still important for the general public.

While Microsoft, through its blog on IE7, gleefully announced the "fabulous" figure of 100 million installations of IE7 in early January 2007, rumors of a possible version of Safari (even though the well-known now obsolete browser - natively - for Mac) for Windows.
Microsoft on the other hand is happy to see that IE7 is the second most used browser after IE6.
All this happens when there are still several locations of IE7, so it is understandable the absolute confidence of Microsoft in its new browser, in "sight" even the release of Vista (pardon the play on words)!
Therefore, it is really necessary to "bring" Safari on Windows?
Mary Jo Foley, in his blog, he tried to ask users . Vote too.
For now the results are:
Clearly, if these "rumors" are true, iPhone, Apple's latest gem, could be involved in some way.
Certainly the new Apple iPhone is preferable to use FireFox or Opera, Apple always make this possible. On a normal Mac, according to end-users, Safari loses long shots, making some sites innavigable.
However, we can see in these speculations as the presentation of the new Apple iPhone has shaken something.

Conitnua to astonish the total difference in yield between different browsers on the market. IE7 handles PNG (8-bit or 24) in a manner different from Firefox. Even Opera is not free from some strange event in this regard. In particular, the PNG used as background are made differently from IE7, Opera and FireFox. This is all well behaved and in this regard it is time to appoint browser's "century"! Congratulations to the development team.
IE7 creates a nice cutting effect of a PNG image used as background repeat-x. If you try to create an image of 200 × 200 pixels with a gradient from black (0 × 000000) to gray (0xEEEEEE) vertically and placed in the body in the CSS as a background orizzonale repeat (repeat-x), setting the background body color 0xEEEEEE - or the end of the gradient, you will notice that only the detachment makes it perfectly FireFox, IE7 and Opera show a nice cutting effect (but slightly different !!!): in practice we see the end of our image 200 × 200 and the beginning of the flat color background.
One way to solve the problem is to save our image to GIF ...
But the NPCs were not supported by IE7?
