From the Apple Web 2.0 images "reflected" Intrenet flooded. Often abused, however, are always impressive. Know how to make good business is not complicated and, with a Pizzoc of imagination, you can make it less "obvious" and "discount" ... if you can not do without.
The basics of SLR
First of all let's see how to set up a basic reflection. The technical basis for setting a reflection, at least my favorite and I use all the time, is simple and fast implementation. This method allows the maximum freedom to make changes later, and preserves transparency in case you want to save the image to PNG 24 with transparency.
1. Phosotoshop As always, open and load the image we want to reflect on a specific layer
2. Duplicate our layer (drag the layer icon to duplicate
) And nominiamolo "shadow" or "reflex"
3. From the "Edit" menu select "Transform" / "Flip Vertical"
4. Drag the new layer "reflex" below the original layer and the base of the original layer spostiamolo
5. We select the layer "reflex" and holding down the ALT key, add a mask by clicking on the icon
"Masks" in the tool window layer, the layer "reflex" should disappear
6. We select the mask in the layer "reflex" and click on
Filling
7. We set up a gradient from black or white to transparent:
8. Draw the gradient from the center of the original layer in the middle layer of the "reflex"

In the post Flash CS3: Create a reflex effect on any MovieClip we saw how you can write a class that extends MovieClip, to connect it to DesignTime to any MovieClip in the library. I discovered, however, that may be more useful and economical path to the contrary. I created a class Reflex ( Reflex.as ), with the intention of using it exclusively by code. I created this class thinking of moving the pointer in the constructor to a MovieClip. , ma leggermente modificato in modo da poter funzionare espressamente da codice: The new class Reflex contains essentially the same code inserted in the first ReflexMe , but slightly modified so as to work specifically by code:
1 2 3 4
/ / sfx .*; undolibrary imports. .* sfx; / / Reflex = new Reflex ( movieClipInstance ) ; var rx: = new Reflex Reflex (movieClipInstance);

Taking advantage of a remarkable feature of Actionscript 3.0 (see ActionScript 3.0, all with the new operator ) I created a class ReflexMe able to generate an effect "reflection" on any MovieClip present in the library.
The source is part of the package undolibrary - GoogleCode of this - but if you want you can download the single file ReflexMe.as .

The author of this library is the same Unobtrusive Reflex ( SLR 1.1: add reflection effect to your images ). This time it offers a nice effect of "curl" (curl) Photoconductor images on various options including the animation of enrichment hover on the edge of the image. The technique used is always that of CANVAS used in all scripts available on the site . Curl to download the script click here .

New version 1.1 of Javascript library SLR with which you can add reflection effects to images. The advantage of using this technique "unobtrusive" is the speed with which you can add these effects without having to actually spend time in creating the image of reflection.
This version has been tested on Mozilla Firefox 1.5 +, Opera 9 +, Safari and IE6. The minimum supported size of an image is 32 × 32. Once libreiria including:
1
"text/javascript" src = "reflex.js" >< / script > < script type = "text / javascript" src = "reflex.js"> </ script >
Just enter class = "reflex" on the images where we want to apply this effect. By exploiting the properties of the class, you can manipulate the effects of reflection, which makes this very special library. You can, in fact, distort the image by adding 3D effects. For example, here is how to add various features to rilfessione:
1
"reflex idistance16 iborder2 iheight24" width = "200" alt = "" src = "images/example.jpg" / > < img class = "reflex idistance16 iborder2 iheight24" width = "200" alt = "" src = "images / example.jpg" />
For details see the official documentation .
On the same site you can download many other effects such as Edge, Corner, Glossy and many others, all dedicated to images.
