PhpStorm 2.0
PHP IDE dedicated to the development there are many, ranging from free to those in charge. For a long time I have used tools such as Eclipse or Aptana , coming to serve specialized editors for HTML / Javascript and - even - CSS. For a year now, however, I think I found definitivamento a complete environment that, at least in my case, it solves all my problems: PhpStorm .
2.7 WP Bannerize
New major upgrade to WP Bannerize , now in release 2.7. Excluding any bug fixes, I believe this will be the last release that will do in 2010! We could define an early Christmas present. This latest version introduces many requests (such as impressions or programming to date) reported by you users and the full list you can read in detail here .
WordPress Plugin Maker
I'm really happy to be able to present a preview of WordPress Plugin Maker, an application for Mac OS X (Snow Leopard) that allows you to create a skeleton of a WordPress Plugin in seconds, allowing you to set many parameters. The application is still under development, however, performs its task basis and is safely usable and functional. Some features have not yet been included and the other is awaiting feedback from the "few" lucky beta testers.
10,000 Thanks WP

XCode Objective-C: Useful Keyboard shortcuts
XCode is really a powerful development environment and reserves some surprises. It allows a function similar to the "snippet" of the famous editor TextMate . In practice it is possible to insert blocks of code using the sequence ESC key + a combination of one or more sequences of characters. e otterrete: For example, if you want to insert a block if try pressing ESC+if and you'll get:

. As shown in the figure, a menu appears (the same AutoComplete) where you can choose between a simple block if or if/else . By clicking "send" you get:

Here are two useful links to have the complete list of keyboard shortcuts:
Adobe products: convert the Windows version in Mac OS
Earlier this year I purchased the upgrade for the Adobe Creative Suite CS4 Web Premium for Windows, being in possession of a valid license from Adobe Creative Suite CS3 Web Premium. For various reasons, as a result, I found myself working exclusively on Mac OS! As many of you know, unlike what happened in the days of Macromedia, the Adobe adopts a unique licensing system: When you buy a product they choose also the platform. Macromedia, however, at the same time provided the versions for Windows and Mac It follows, then, that I found myself unable to use the Adobe suite on my beautiful MacBook Pro Fortunately Adobe allows you to replace, free of any additional charge (except 8 EUR shipping box), your Windows version with the Mac OS - or vice versa.
To do this simply contact technical support, using its Adobe account and request a replacement, indicating the current version and serial number. The technical support will send you a document in which you state that provvederete of destruction and non-use in future version you intend to replace.
Done this, and paid the 8 euros in a couple of days you will come home version for your operating system! Adobe Brava! ![]()
