Since we presented wpXtreme we realized that many have not understood what potential this project has. With this first article I want, as well as CTO of wpXtreme Saidmade , explain all that we have done and are doing to make wpXtreme something unique.
What wpXtreme?
wpXtreme is a project, a stratup if you prefer, but really - or physically - to which products or services are we talking about? In the first instance wpXtreme is first and foremost a WordPress plugin for free download (coming soon) that provides immediate access to a series of improvements and services:
As shown in the diagram above, a standard installation of WordPress with just the plugin wpXtrem get:
- Graphical improvements to the interface UI backend
- User Management, page posts and improved
- Store access (wpxPlugStore)
- Pre-Installation of WordPress Development Kit (WPDK), proprietary framework used for writing all of our plugins
Not only plugin store
In this period were no other startups and projects that seem, at first sight, confused or resemble wpXtreme . As we discussed earlier, it is not. wpXtreme provides (and continue to provide) a series of improvements (doppaggi as we call them ...) the entire environment WordPress. These improvements, available free of charge by downloading the plugin wpXtreme, are just the tip of an iceberg that will reveal over time.

Users, posts and page
As mentioned in the ' article appeared on the blog of wpXtreme , here is one of improvement regarding users. WpXtreme alter the list of users by adding the number of logins, the number of incorrect login, date of last login and logout.
The number of login failures is one of those dedicated to improving safety. It is possible, from the new user settings, decide how many incorrect login a user can do, then the system will lock the user. This allows you to prevent attempts to brute force attack to the system, or at least limit them.
The members list, that of the posts and pages are ornamented with a convenient swipe button in degrees to enable or disable a user onfly, to put in draft or published an article or page.
Users custom fields
As a final anticipation (the others coming soon) let me show you the ability to extend at will the profile of a user. WpXtreme, in fact, allows a complete management and custom login and registration. Besides that allows you to add custom fields of different types, appear automatically in the backend user.
All of these additions, and other that will implement and show in time, have the purpose of aggregating in one place all those features often scattered in different plugin and also represent those functions that all blogs sooner or later require.
I can not now anticipate nothing more unfortunately, otherwise my CEO kills me! However, stay tuned here on undolog and wpXtreme blog because they do not even remotely imagine what it can do wpXtreme.
Users custom fields looks interesting, should be added the ability to validate the field based on configurable parameters
@ Vik: validation is always a complex issue to handle, as it must necessarily add a good editor to be able to cover all cases. However, we will try to add all the features suggested by users as well as the drag and drop fields so that you can reposition!

From backend will be able to activate and regulate all the additional features. our goal, said just two words, is to provide a plug-in database containing all the shortcomings of WordPress together with a layer framework necessary for other plugins.
