WP CLEANFIX is a Plugin for WordPress (also compatible with WordPress MU - will exist as long as this distinction) I've written to optimize, maintain, clean, and fit our Database WordPress.
This is still an early version, however, the available functions work properly. I remember working directly with the Database before trying any functions of elimination, it is good to make a backup of the database.
Among the characteristics of this release are:
- Compatibility with WordPress MU
- Fully Ajax to implement the controls asynchronously
- Localization English / Italian
- Check the User Meta unused
- View / Removes the revisions for Posts
- View / Post Meta Removes unused
- View / Removes unused Tags
- Check if there Posts without a valid Author
- Check / Remove Unused Categories
- View / Removes Terms (terms) is not properly connected
- Check / Remove Taxonomie (taxonomy) is not properly connected
- View / Removes Comments not adopted: displays with fast
- View / Removes SPAM Comments: displays with fast
really nice release and plugins, working fine now - just ajax not working always under google chrome browser dev, but all previous bugs are removed. thank you very much for this work and plugin!

Very interesting. Why not add a check to manage / delete any tags that are not associated with any post or those less used? (The second request deviates a bit '...)
