It was a long time that I wanted to see the layout of the home page of this blog, given the numerous articles accumulation in recent years. I also wanted to try some CSS framework ( 960 , Blueprint ) and so I took the opportunity to give a good cleaning to the topic, review the PHP code and give a "refreshed" graphic at all.

News
The novelty of this new release of the theme reside primarily in the new structure of the Home Page, which allows faster access to information contained in this blog. The most useful part in my opinion is the central block with a list of recent posts by recuparati special sections, such as WordPress or Snippets & Tricks ! For the rest ... take a trip ![]()

Very good!
Good job ... but I am increasingly convinced that a clear version of this blog (positive / negative) would be a thousand times more attractive!
Hello,
Emmanuel
@ Emmanuel: in the next release I would like to put a switch of style, so you see both versions
Very interesting development of the homepage
compliments giò
I like it!
@ Julius: Thanks!
@ Francis Gaven: I'm happy
If you have any suggestions to improve ...
Question .... Why not, for example 960gs and blueprint?
@ Napolux:
Good question (as always) and I can answer fully as I tried them both. At a basic level that is 960 Blueprint work the same way, are therefore based on the same principle of "columns" with which to organize the virtual layout. However, there are 2 reasons that led me to choose instead of Blueprint 960:
1) Blurprint has its own generator layout, which allows you to create templates with any number of columns and large holdall, unlike the 960 which is bound to only 12 or 16 columns. In addition, this online generator also creates a PNG for use in Adobe Photoshop, for example, as a reference grid-
2) Bluprint offers her a print management (print.css) missing 960.
3) For length, I think, Blueprint provides greater level of support forums, articles, samples, and Plugins.
However, apart from these details, 960 remains valid and in the end I think that the choice between the two is purely subjective.
See here for details
For a while, 'I have tested blueprint (version 0.7) but then I read one of the many articles "against" ( this example) and a little 'I gave up, finding agrees in part with those who argue that using a framework "lame "learning and" mastering "of CSS.
What is certain is that whoever writes these posts IMHO has no deadline or deadlines "deadly" when it works, eh
@ Napolux: exactly!
What can I say ... great job!
It's pretty much the point at which I would like to reach with my blog, although I buy the template touches such complex
Really, congratulations vivid. I really like the navigation menu, the featured slider and the footer.

@ Sniper Wolf: Thanks!
I was doing a sketch of the template that I wanted to do for a new site, but hell, this is exactly the idea I had in mind.
Now I have to change, because I could never do something so beautiful and I could never be happy with my result.
@ Robert Felter: oops
But you can download this theme?
@ Postmaster:
I do not know where to be honest. The themes for Undolog I personally create them from scratch. They are also very personal for this blog, with a risk of not making 100% of other configurations of WordPress ... sorry ... but thanks for the appreciation
