It was released right now (thanks to alert the author Michael JI Jackson ) release 3.0 beta Shadowbox.js . In addition to the new site design here is the most important changes prior to this release:
- A major rewrite / Reorganization of the queues
- Greatly simplified setup process by Eliminating * methods to load and using options to Specify language / adapter / player (s) instead
- Shadowbox skin separated into ITS own class (Shadowbox.skin) That Should simplify skin customization
- Made many public properties and methods HAD Previously Been That private and eliminated redundant accessor methods (Such as getVersion, getPlugins, etc..)
- Introduced dependence on version 2 for Flash SWFObject embedding. Included support for Express Install
- Added flashVersion, FlashVars, and flashParams options for passing options directly to SWFObject
- Added support for loading onDOMReady Shadowbox instead of waiting for window.onload
- Added support for Internet Explorer 8
- Switched from PHP to Ruby's rake for build / packaging system
- Introduced Shadowbox.js License version 1.0
- Numerous other bug fixes and speed improvements overall
Not bad, a solution to keep on hand.
The commercial license is extremely affordable.
