Photoshop alpha: difference between opacity and fill

Photoshop If an example is worth a thousand explanations, here is how to understand the difference between the percentage of transparency (alpha) of the property opacity and fill rate. Both, in fact, acting on the layer and, in some cases seem to be really identical. However, if Adobe has separated, there is a reason! The difference is simple: the entire layer opacity acts, including effects. Fill, however, is limited to the contents of the layer without affecting any additional effects. Create an image similar to the one shown below:

Alternatively setting opacity of 10% to 10% coverage and then, we soon become aware of the difference:
