Photoshop study: JuliusDesign logo restyling
Wednesday, February 20, 2008Every so often I like to rework some nice logo that I see ... Since JuliusDesign has just revamped its look, I could not resist the temptation to "play around" with the lovely new logo that he made!
ORIGINAL
This is the logo from where I started, simple, web2.0 style, perfect!

IDEA
Among other things, as soon as I saw reminded me of something Eastern. There I see a Ninja - or thereabouts - overturned. If anything with two eyes:

Restyle
Here is a reworking spectacular! Format Lux, so to speak.
With background and rilfesso ...

Nice surprise ... I was speechless ...
Your facelift is remarkable, the logo with reflection is magnificent ... thanks again maybe I'll use for the new warhead to do ...
PS: The idea of okkieti I had occurred to me
nice job
@ Julius: I imagined that the idea of okkietti had noticed ... that would be developed ... it could be your mascot!
Congratulations
Excellent work!
I do compliment you twice for the restyling and the smart move of viral marketing
Do not get angry ...
It seems to me thinking ...
And then there's a costra of colors between the site of Julius and logo ...
the site is green white and orange logo instead red and black ...
Well I said from my time I'm quiet
Undolog you put between feeds ehehe
Bellissimo! The final logo with the reflection of the clouds is simply spectacular.
@ Smash: excellent analysis! Ultimately, you are right. However the restyling did not think the Web site of Julius in that tank is just a reworking with the site that did not - or could have - nothing to do. However good point
As soon as I saw I was about to cry ... thinking about the horrible logos that I create myself!
SEI UN GRANDE!
@ GDC: thanks ... too good!
Congratulations also from me! And it is nice the idea of drilling on existing logos ... a well-deserved publicity if the job is done right!
You're like those architects who dream of "clean up" the landscape works of questionable taste, eheh
as unlisted gdc

Giovambattista congratulations!
Great job! Blessed are you who know her these things ...
@ Chris: Thanks! If you follow some of my tutorial on Undolog.com can become "blessed"
too
Thanks for the compliments
[...] Today I had a nice surprise on innaspettata undolog (blog to follow) and I could not thank him publicly. [...]
But for the facelift you only have Photoshop with an additional plugin?
@ Issivan: Yes, I used Adobe Photoshop CS3 with its standard filters, nothing more. I did not use any special plugins.
Good work, congratulations
