Prototype 1.6.0 release candidate
Sunday 26 August, 2007 It was just released 1.6.0 release candidate of prototype with the latest updates to the API system. In particular method observe the object Event has been improved and now provides the context of that issued the event. This "right" behavior can be overridden. This means that by default this refers to the object that issued the event. It also introduced the ability to create custom events. Other improvements include the Function.prototype, the functions of DOM, Ajax, the functions of the classes and much more. For a complete list see CHANGELOG.
