The software company Crytek, who wrote the beautiful Far Cry and Far Cry Instincts , has developed a graphics engine with exceptional features, the CryEngine 2, which will be used in the highly anticipated title Crysis , first-person shooter for PC and console Next Generation (presumably Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3).
We must now admit that the level of detail rendering (real time) is reached as to make it really difficult to distinguish the images of the game and those of a normal photograph. For me that is the right Tarot: the rocks are still too polygonal, and the green is too green ... but certainly we are a step away!
