Safety Bulletin: WordPress Xbox 360

Who has recently updated WordPress is strongly encouraged to move urgently to version 2.1.2 . According to Secunia the problem of the last update of WordPress 2.1.1 is considered highly critical, allowing remote PHP code execution! Visit the official blog for more details on how to update the story, since it is the Italian version for some files there are special procedures to be performed.

Also for the first start in console security issues. A vulnerability in Microsoft Xbox 360 gaming console, in fact, would be the execution of foreign code, and the replacement of the internal software with Linux! The update to resolve everything has been distributed via Xbox Live.

    In case you use WordPress you should feel comfortable, as I am that I have version 2.06. The problem, in fact, as often happens, was caused only in the last released version 2.1.1.
    As for the XBox 360, what they are able to understand is that the major flaw was known for some time, but Microsoft has admitted the dramatic problem only recently.
