Genes: the social tree

Genes ! It is true that the imagination has no limits. Ajax will probably take us where no developer has gone before! However good. This tool , free, it is really nice. It allows you to create "on the fly" their family tree, except that you have all the data. The recording is "hidden" in the first entry, or yourself.

It goes pretty shipped, holds in all practical considerations (divorsi, living relatives, sex, ...) any "person" has a real card, address book or calendar almost customers. The interface has princpale an answer fairly quickly, which can not be said of the interface cards for individual items added: every time you click on a TabStrip an Ajax request is done very slowly.
Apart from some "Baghetti" here and there, the slowness of some chronic stages, the idea is nice. Try it at least once ...

NOTES:
It uses Prototype / Script.aculo.us and YUI components (Yahoo). Perhaps that is why it is very slow.
